The Maple Tree In The Driveway
When we first bought this home we wondered just why someone would plant a tree in the middle of the driveway. After living here a while we found the tree shades our southwestern windows in the hot-hot summer, then drops it's leaves and gives us light during the dark winters. The tree has been lovingly pruned since this photo was taken.

I like your tree. Our front yard has a huge cypress tree. Our nieghbor is a forrester and says it's not native and he would cut it down. I can't do that as the stageroad runs in front of our house and gives off an incredible about of dust in the summer right toward my front door. This tree acts like an upright Swiffer duster catching alot of the dust. It's my natural filter system.I love it.
