As Seen On TV
Looking west from the deck-I woke early this morning and checked the local news to see if we might get a little more than the light dusting of snow we received overnight.
Our local TV show, "Good Day Sacramento," was asking for emailed pictures, calling it "Show Us Your Snow," as this lower level elevation snow is not common.
I trudged outside and took a few photos, and ended up emailing the picture shown above.
By the time my husband awoke and was drinking his first cup of coffee, I told him to turn around to the TV, and asked if the onscreen photo looked familiar. It was my submitted photograph!
It's snowing again, so I hope to go back out for more pictures shortly.
I'm thinking I ought to change out of my thermal pajamas and slippers first...

How cool! Well I mean how FREEZING!!! But how cool about your picture being on tv. That must have surprised Mr. SierraBella, huh? :-)
Hope you don't have to go anywhere and can just sit back, stay warm and enjoy the snow.
Mt. Diablo has some snow but nothing in our backyward, of course.

I'd heard the weather prediction, so I stocked up the other day.
It's still snowing, but melting right away... darn!
How neat that your picture was on TV! We have our third snow of the year right now. We haven't had a good snow in three years, and now it's making up for it. It's just a few inches, but around here that's a lot.

We're in the same boat. Normally, just a few inches of snow is a lot for us.

We had snow again yesterday, it's so weird. Nearing 70 all week then BOOM, winter wonderland all weekend.

The quitting smoking is going better than predicted. I'm finding this method of cutting back by increments of time works well for us.

Although we have some fairly level property, most of it is sloped. The deck adds more usable space, and (so far) keeps the deer out of my potted plants!
