Things Are Getting Weird!

Oak tree and the moon- Posted by Picasa

OK, I just added AdSense onto my site a few minutes ago...
What do I see as my very first ad? Religious stuff!
This is something I thought I'd never see on my site, so I'm guessing I'd better watch the content of my future postings!
I normally post about inane subjects such as deer, plants and flowers, hauntings, and even local Mountain Ranch real estate.
It might prove fun (for a while) to see what kind of advertising pops up with each posting... and maybe not.
I believe I'm going to pour myself a Yukon Jack on the rocks (since it's hotter than heck outside) and mull this over.
Goodnight all!

Heh -- that'll teach you to post photos of churches, you infidel! Next thing you'll be getting comments from the Christian Coalition. That's cracking me up!

I know, it's really funny some of the things that these ad places pick up.

I looooove that picture.

Perhaps more pics of dudes in assless leather chaps will remedy this very quickly. ;)

Laughing, when I first put AdSense on my site . . . it drove me nuts. Now I don't notice all the time. That was until I got an email asking how much I charged for a psychic reading? That is the ad that has been there for awhile. So I wrote the lady back and explained you have to click on the link. That no I was not the Psychic.
Yes I had the religious stuff too, and I haven't put a church on my sight.
I love this picture it is beautiful!

How funny! Now if *I* ever had an ad for religious things on my blog, then we'd really know the world was coming to an end! Probably best that I don't add AdSense ;-)

I guess we could all use some churchin' up. Me... I don't like churchs. My feet sizzle and burn when I tred on hallowed ground. Danger

Infidel is right!
I guess the advertising scheme serves me right...

kat-
Now that's an excellent idea!

squirl-
I really am interested in seeing what the ads pick up on within my posts.
Thanks on the compliment about the picture!

chris v.-
It's down below, on the right, tucked under the counter.

hermes-
Assless chaps will most certainly get the religious ads off... but wouldn't it be funny if it didn't?

cheesecakey-
I did!
One can only imagine what ads would pop up on your site...

jac-
Glad you're getting a laugh out of this!
Enjoy the remainder of your vacation.

nanina-
You should have done the psychic reading- you'd probably have made some easy bucks!
Thanks for the compliment!

kitty-
It's far better that I sing you a lullaby with pictures... you really wouldn't want me to sing a song!

soozieq-
Isn't there something in Revelations about your blog and the end of the world?

nick danger-
Somehow I totally believe that!
It's probably best to stay away from church-turf.
Hope your move is coming along.

This is the ad that was up there for me just now....

"Baptist Dating
Date Sexy Baptist Singles in Your City. Register free.
www.BaptistFriends.com"

I'm dying laughing. Sexy Baptist Singles. Shit. That's one for Mr. Danger!

I just now saw that myself!
Well hallelujah!
Maybe I should have paid more attention the couple of times I attended the Baptist Church... all I can remember was that great singing.
