Knucklehead
Well, the grandson has returned home and I can begin blogging once again.
Of course I
do need to attend to weeding, planting and working the wood chipper-
shades of "Fargo!"I know gardening isn't a hot topic, but it is a great way to exercise and tan at the same time...

I would love to hear about your garden.... one of the things I am most excited about my new house is the huge backyard and the room to have a vegetable and herb garden.
cheesecakey-
My garden (so far) is mostly on the deck.
I've been experimenting with so-called deer resistant plants (off the deck) and found they will eat agapanthus, lantana and salvia.
Been having luck with rosemary, foxglove and iris.
It is exciting that you'll be planting a garden!
I've found that rabbits won't eat your plants while there is blood meal sprinkled around them. It's also a fertilizer. I don't know if deer would react the same as the rabbits or not. You have to reapply every time it rains or you water a lot, though.
Love the Knucklehead picture, too!
squirl-
I have a friend up here who has tried everything known to man.
Deer fencing seems to be the best way to keep the deer at bay, but I don't want to block the view.
Thank goodness store bought veggies are relatively inexpensive!
So is Knucklehead the same skinny kitty from the the "Feral Cat" entry?!?
Wow, he looks GREAT!
