Timberrrrrrrr!

Firewood and a cat- Posted by Hello
We finally hired a crew to cut down that 80' oak tree I mentioned in an earlier post.
It was quite a sight, watching the climber and the intricate ropework needed to keep the falling limbs from destroying the house and deck.
After the upper branches were removed the tree was toppled. You can see in the picture just how it fell.
Now to figure where to stack all this wood.
I see a backache in my near future...

Note: If you've come to this posting by Googling: wood + "intricate ropework" + "quite a sight" thinking this was porn, I apologize.

You're not a cat person? *snicker, snicker*
She's actually OK, just a feral cat who adopted us... and she thinks she's one of our dogs!

I was going to ask if the cat had a name. I AM a cat person. :-)

I call her Kitty... but Mr. SB calls her Panther since she's almost entirely black.

Ichabod would like that. He's really allergic to cats but he likes the short-haired black because they look like panthers.

My father was allergic to "pet dander" as he put it. So we never had pets (other than goldfish.)

Pet allergies really suck. We always had cats and one dumb dog while were growing up. I'm saying the one dog we had was dumb. I love dogs, too.

But now Bucky has cat allergies. When her cat passed away a few years ago she decided it wasn't worth the medication. So no more cats for her either.

We're now up to two cats and three dogs! Mr. SB's job is feeding them...
We also have an empty chicken coop, but we don't plan on getting any fowl. How many eggs can two people eat?

Looking for porn again?
On my Sierrabella site, I did a post about my "Aunt Peg." When I found a number of people Googling "Aunt Peg" and getting that posting I had to take a look. She's a porn star!
(Not my Aunt, another one!)
