My Research Is Done (For Now)

Is It Safe To Come Out Yet? Posted by Picasa

My subscription to Ancestry.com has finally expired, bringing me back into the world of the living.

I worked 11 hours straight on Saturday, thinking my subscription ended at midnight, but found it was still activated on Sunday! Needless to say, I worked all day Sunday on my search.

I finally ended up with 1,453 entries, and a new average lifespan of 59 years and 7 months...

I intend to go blog visiting today, and then get some sunshine! I need it.

I'm happy to be back!
I feel like I've been in a cave for the past week or so.
Glad to catch up with everybody now- it's sure a lot of reading!

Hi! Yes I'm really back!

I'm trying to decide how to create a booklet of my findings (and the antique photos) for my siblings and my kids. I think it would make a nice Christmas gift! This will take some deep thinking...

Wow, that sounds like a fantastic present. Glad to see you back in circulation. I've been busy with work and stuff so I finally put a new post. It's lame, just flower pictures, but some of the best pictures I've taken in a while.

I thought you were ending your subscription because you were hitting a wall? Yet you found so much!

I think that I am going to send my dad to Ancestry.com. He's been getting together a family history but has just been going on immediate family knowledge.

Thanks! My two cats were feral, and adopted us a while back.

squirl-
Normal genealogy reports and family trees are pretty boring, so I'm hoping a booklet will be a bit more interesting.
I'll have to drop by and see your new pictures!

Thanks! I'm happy to be back.

Actually my kitty's brother is quite handsome, but his name is Knucklehead for a good reason!

Yeah, it was hard work, but interesting too.
Glad I got some sun yesterday because it looks like we're going to get some rain later today.

Oddly enough I received an email out of the blue from another Diggs family researcher and another Lescalleet family researcher who had some amazing clues which headed me in the right direction.
I found family tales to be a great help with this project. Your father would probably love a subscription!

YAY! Welcome back! A booklet sounds amazing - there are a lot of programs that can do that....of course I don't know anything helpful like which ones ;)

Hi cheesecakey!
Actually my Family Tree Maker software has that function, so I'll attempt that first and see how it looks.
I don't know whether I can finish before Christmas, but I'll be working at it!

Purely a labor of love!

All women are diverse. Most women I know work, nurture their children, and have other interests beyond even those full-time jobs.
Thank you for the compliment though!
