Hell Yeah I Did!
Christmas stuffSince it's been too hot to do much of anything these past few weeks, I decided to do some online shopping.
I found an early Christmas sale at Current Catalog, and boy did I take advantage!
The order arrived and I picked it up yesterday, realizing there are only five months left until the holiday...
I'm now stocked up on wrapping, cards and a few extras.
It's kind of strange having Christmas items sitting here when the temperature is right now reading 114 degrees. Oh well...

Yah even the fake snowballs on those (are they?) napkins look refreshing!! That's how hot I am right now. It's actually cooler OUTSIDE right now than it is inside our warehouse. Stupid, damn metal roof and no windows/doors for cross ventilation death trap of a work place.
Heh. Nope I'm not bitter or edgy because of the heat, nope, not me! ;-)
Michigan has had some rain and a nice cooldown. Not that we've been as hot as you guys anyway.
But, before we started moving all the time I used to be an early Christmas shopper. One year I had all of my shopping done by this time. When I started moving all the time that meant I not only had to move the stuff, I had to locate it again at Christmas. :)

I also feel cooler looking at this stuff.
I used to work in buildings with zero windows (for security purposes,) but the AC was always in working condition for all the computers.

I'd forget where I put them, or even that I ordered them by the time Christmas rolled around, and I'd just end up buying everything twice anyway. You're probably organized enough to take advantage of it, so I'm glad you got such a bargain!!

I have a spare closet in my office, which is where my holiday stuff lives.
Now, if my children were still living at home... well I definitely wouldn't have that extra closet!
And I am always the type to send out the Christmas cards a week AFTER Christmas!

The temp is actually under 90 degrees today, so I'm in a happy place (for now.)
I don't even want to think about it. One year 22 years ago in fact. I had all my shopping done by now. That was the only year I did. I did then because Ben was due around Christmas. Now I only think about it when I have to. :) But I wish I could be more like you.

I like to try and get ahead so that I can enjoy the season, rather than rushing around and missing all the fun stuff.
I wouldn't be surprised if you canceled Christmas entirely this year with the way it's been going!
