Oh Deer!
The fawn- I noticed this little baby just yesterday, with no mother in sight. The poor thing is barely older than a wobbly newborn, but made its way toward the deer trail which leads to a secluded meadow. I'm hoping for the best...

squirl We watched a pair of fawns, a male and a female, grow up. The male we called Brokenhorn after a few years of hard living. One year we missed seeing him and thought the worst. The following year he appeared, in all his Brokenhorn glory, with a new family!

That's amazing -- such a tiny one able to find the trail and follow it! I'll hope for the best along with you. Looks like a beautiful place to live.

Welcome!
I'm so hoping it'll be OK.
Last July 4th was our big mountain lion sighting...
Hope your birthday was good.
The tiny ones always survive, they are safe in His hands.
I have my fingers crossed for the little thing.
